After a few delays the final race of the midweek series was held in a lightish but reasonable wind from the south. Jakob managed to get away from the pack with Pietro close behind but at the second mark Pietro fell foul of a dead patch, whilst Jakob held the wind further out and escaped. The fleet swapped places for the rest of the race with Ellie producing a fine second just ahead of the Merlin with George and Kerry.

Due to the terrible idea of having to work neither Jack nor James managed to race in the final edition, and this allowed Jakob to win the series by a wide margin of 1 point, so congratulations to him.
