The weather gods threatened thunder, lightning, rain and 29 knot gusts but in the end the sun shone the breeze dropped, leading to 10 minute postponement and then right on cue it picked up and the spinnakers popped up for the first leg with 17 boats on the start line. Just over the hour mark John and Livvy Bell crossed the finish line followed by Arthur and Will Henderson with Andy Harris and Matty Key. Well done all.
