This year’s Easter BBC series was going to be run over two weekends 27th/28th March and 2nd/3rd April so we could have 2 upriver and 2 downriver races but Covid put paid to the first weekend. However, with the tantalising prospect of sailing being allowed from 29th March we have provisionally agreed to reschedule all the races over the Easter holiday period. Whilst they will be downriver races they will be relatively short ones, with turning mark upriver of Wandsworth Bridge – final confirmation to follow in Commodore’s weekly missive.
