The club is available to rent for members and the general public and we look to support the local community.
The spacious main hall is 14m x 9m with high vaulted ceilings, flooded with light and overlooking the river. The space is suitable for anything from drinks parties, dinners, memorials, baby showers, children’s parties and yoga and exercise classes. It has also been used for film sets and company off-sites. For company events there is also a recently refurbished committee room that has it own kitchen, large board table and whiteboards etc. We also have fibre unlmited broadband which is available for use.
There is a kitchen for tea/ coffee and men’s and ladies’ cloak rooms. For catered events we have an in-house caterer. External caterers are welcome but there is a an additional charge to cover insurance. Guests must arrange their own drinks. The building is not suitable for parties with loud music due to noise restrictions and all guests must leave by 11pm.
Please note that if the party overlaps with a Club race then members will still need access to the Club facilities (principally the changing rooms so shouldn’t preclude an event being held). Parking directly outside the Club is available but if your party overlaps with racing we ask you to ensure that access to the undercroft is not blocked, so in this event please do not leave vehicles in front of the club and please ensure your guests are aware of this requirement.

2026 indicative prices for events/parties excluding catering surcharges (including VAT and subject to final agreement):
Children’s parties: £220 (4 hours during day inc. set up)
Adult events (during day, up-to 6pm, weekday): £300
Adult events (during day, up-to 6pm, Sat/Sun): £500
Adult events (evening, after 6pm, weekday): £375
Adult events (evening, after 6pm, Fri/Sat): £600
Full Day rate (0900-2300 weekday ex Friday) £500
Full Day rate (0900-2300 Friday, Saturday) £750
Day rate (Sunday, only to 6pm) £550
Add-ons

Corkage: capped at £200 for events up to 50 guests; larger events by arrangement

There is no surcharge if one of the club’s approved caterers is used.
Damage deposit: £200 refundable (£300 for evening and full-day hires)
Good to know
Session rates cover the hall and outside deck. Kitchen and bar room are separate add-ons.
Bar room / servery is space only
Guests supply their own drinks (corkage applies).
Music ends at 23:00. No music outdoors at any time.
All guests, including clear-up, must leave by the end of the booking.The damage deposit is refunded after the event subject to the venue being left clean, tidy and undamaged, with all rubbish removed to the large bins downstairs.
We have recycling bins downstairs, so please ensure recyclable items are binned separately from the rubbish.
